Last Friday, I blogged about the fact that 1 billion digital tracks had been purchased online in the USA for 2008. China has already caught up to that, and just on mobile phones. China Mobile, China's biggest mobile phone carrier, just released numbers for Jan - Nov of 2008 and there have been an astonishing 1.2 billion song downloads through its wireless music service. There are over 84 million subscribers to the wireless music club and China Mobile offers over 1 million songs
